It depends on your internet provider. Some providers require you to enter username and password in the router settings, while others do not. You have to communicate with your provider.
hmm do you know if that password and username is needed in wind ?
Unfortunately, not. I have Forthnet as provider and I have to log in to my router and add some additional credentials in the Wan settings.
