KP Makris ρώτησε πριν 5 έτηGood day gents, I recently installed Linux Mint 19 on my laptop (dual boot), desperately try to kick the Windows habit (same way I successfully kicked the iOS habit last year and I am now I happy Android user). However, I struggle to get access to my work email archives through the Linux email client. There is about 30-40GB worth of Outlook archives in pst format which I am trying to find a reliable way to convert to MBox(or other) format. Unfortunately I have tried the conversion via Thunderbird as well as a via the LibPST command on the Linux terminal but neither was reliable (the former didn't work at all while the second one was skipping several emails per pst file). Any suggestions would be really appreciated. You can reply in Greek if you wish, I am typing in English because the greek autocorrect function on my phone is getting On my tits :)

Η μόνη λύση που μπορώ να σκεφτώ θα ήταν να έστηνες έναν δικό σου mail server μέσω του Exchange server, να έκανες εκεί import τα PST που λογικά θα έχει απόλυτη συμβατότητα, και να συνδεόσουν σε εκείνο το server με το thunderbird για να κατεβάσεις τα email.
Δεν είναι ούτε απλή ούτε εύκολη λύση. Ο exchange server μπορεί να εγκατασταθεί μόνο σε Server λειτουργικό, θα θέλει εκτεταμένες ρυθμίσεις για να είναι έστω και στο ελάχιστο λειτουργικός, και ενώ μπορείς να κατεβάσεις Windows Server 2019 σαν trial 180 ημερών, δεν είναι βέβαιο το αν υπάρχει αντίστοιχο trial για τον exchange server ή αν θέλει υποχρεωτικά άδεια.
Όμως για τόσο μεγάλο όγκο email και εφόσον δεν λειτουργεί κάποια από τις μεθόδους που δοκίμασες μέχρι στιγμής, δυστυχώς δεν έχουμε κάτι άλλο να προτείνουμε.
